Avner and his crew are well deserving of all of the five star ratings! I had my entire AC and heating system replaced (2 units) including all ductwork and piping and they did a great job at a reasonable price with no hidden fees. They were all professional, thorough, trustworthy and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them!Posted on Matthew ValladaoAugust 7, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AC went down, called up South Texas Comfort Control, they scheduled an appointment for the next day, then called a little bit later and said they had a opening the same day. a tech out, took a look at the system and replaced the bad part I had a working system in less than 24 hours from when it broke. This is the second time I've used these guys and I'll keep doing so.Posted on Andrew EAugust 4, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. STCC really took care of me. I was having issues with my 4 year old unit so I called the original company that installed it. I was having so much issues with that company, that I gave up and called STCC. Avner came by to check the details of my unit and came back with a couple of options to fit my budget. Then Kenneth came by and did a great job to get my unit back up. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a honest company.

High indoor humidity can affect far more than your comfort. Excess moisture can contribute to mold growth, musty odors, damaged building materials, and poor indoor air quality. In coastal communities like Corpus Christi, controlling indoor humidity is an important part of protecting both your property and your family’s health.
At South Texas Comfort Control, we identify the source of excessive humidity and recommend customized solutions that help manage moisture while improving overall HVAC performance. Whether your home requires better ventilation, whole-home dehumidification, or indoor air quality improvements, we provide solutions designed for the South Texas climate.
Maintaining indoor humidity levels between 30% and 50% helps improve comfort while reducing the conditions that allow mold and mildew to develop. Our technicians evaluate your home’s HVAC system, airflow, and moisture levels to determine the most effective way to reduce humidity.
By controlling excess moisture, your home can feel cooler, more comfortable, and more energy efficient throughout the year.
Mold thrives in damp environments where moisture is left untreated. Rather than simply treating visible symptoms, we focus on addressing the conditions that allow mold to develop in the first place.
Our humidity control solutions help reduce condensation, improve ventilation, and create an environment that discourages future mold growth while protecting your home’s indoor air quality.
Excess humidity often leads to stale air, unpleasant odors, and airborne mold spores that can affect overall comfort. Improving humidity control allows your HVAC system to operate more efficiently while creating a healthier indoor environment.
Whether you’re noticing condensation around windows, persistent musty smells, or rooms that constantly feel damp, our team can recommend solutions that restore comfort and improve air quality.
For more than 10 years, South Texas Comfort Control has helped homeowners and businesses throughout Corpus Christi improve comfort with dependable HVAC and indoor air quality solutions. Our experienced technicians provide honest recommendations, customized moisture control strategies, and professional service that helps protect your home year-round.
